My name is Joe Monti (duh!) and this is my blog and website. I’m a software engineer with interests in networked software, machine intelligence, and robotics. I really enjoy solving problems and writing software. I am a strong supporter of Free Software and try to use it as much as I can. I’m fortunate enough to be able to almost entirely use free software for work and play. I used to spend a lot of time working on Free Software projects, which was how I learned a lot of what I know about writing software and a lot of the stuff that goes with it. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to spend time working on Free Software projects as of late, but I continue to hold it in high regard and interest.
